THE PLANT
A small seed, widely known.
Nigella sativa is an annual flowering plant with delicate pale flowers. Its seed pods hold the small black seeds from which the oil is obtained.
Black Seed has a long place in Middle Eastern kitchens and home traditions, which is part of why it feels so familiar to so many.
IN FAYNAN
Woven into the blend, and on its own.
In FAYNAN, Black Seed oil joins Wild Pistachio (Butm) and Sidr in a modern pre-wash oil for hair and scalp.
It is also offered on its own as Pure Black Seed Oil, a single ingredient for hair before the wash and for the body.
