01 — MIX
Stir two to three tablespoons of powder with warm water into a smooth, creamy paste. Rest it for a few minutes.
02 — APPLY
Work the paste through damp hair and onto the scalp, section by section.
03 — REST
Leave for 15–30 minutes. Keep it away from the eyes.
04 — RINSE
Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear. Condition as usual.

- Short or fine hair: one to two tablespoons.
- Long, thick, curly or coily hair: three tablespoons or more, in sections.
- Rest 15–30 minutes, then rinse until the water runs clear.
- Follow with your usual conditioner.

- Face mask: one teaspoon mixed with water or rose water.
- Leave about 10 minutes, then rinse.
- Keep away from the eyes; rinse with water if contact occurs.

What is Sidr powder?
Finely ground dried leaves of the Sidr tree (Ziziphus spina-christi). Mixed with water, it becomes a soft paste traditionally used to wash the hair across the Middle East. It is a single ingredient, with nothing added.
Does it lather like shampoo?
Only gently. Sidr gives a soft, low lather rather than foam. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear; longer or thicker hair may need a little more time under the water.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes, as a simple mask: mix one teaspoon with water or rose water, apply to clean skin avoiding the eye area, leave for about 10 minutes, then rinse. Test on a small area first.
Can I use it with the Botanical Hair Ritual Oil?
Yes. Apply the Botanical Hair Ritual Oil to dry hair before the wash, then use the Sidr paste as your wash step. Shampoo afterwards if your hair still feels coated.
